Less Doing, More Being by Eileen Rose Miles is a meditation on Insight Timer.
Here you can find a transcription, which is not accurate, as it is directly for listening
Allow yourself to stop whatever you are doing.
Just land here.
Close your eyes.
Completely let go of the world outside you.
Use your breath to simply be here. Inhale, exhale.
Just be here. Breathe in, breathe out.
Notice how you feel. Stay still.
There is nothing to do, no action to take, nothing to figure out.
Just melt into this moment.
Feel the softening of your eyes. Soften your jaw.
Let your entire face be. There is no expression to hold.
Feel your arms grow heavier. There is nothing to carry here.
Let go. Feel the stillness in your hands and the no-doing.
Breathe in — let it all go.
Allow your whole body to fill with stillness, your legs, your core.
Sink deeper. Just be here, where you are.
Let this nothingness be everything you need. Let it be enough.
Many of us think we need to be stressed, taking things down, getting things done.
Ask yourself — is it possible to do everything you need to do with ease, with relaxation and awareness?
You can find a balance between doing and no-doing.
Let yourself, from time to time, notice how this stillness shapes your entire day.
Breathe in, breathe out. Stay with the stillness. Keep letting yourself be in this moment, just.
Rest your mind a little longer. Slow breath in — slow exhale.
Allow yourself to be.
See how productive doing nothingness can be.
Notice how your nervous system feels now.
Notice how tension may have left your body.
One of the things we can do for ourselves is just to be — to feel.
You are worthy of this pause, this moment of simply being.
You always are. You don’t need to earn it.
Soft breath in, soft exhale. You chose to be here.
Honour yourself, you chose to be here.
Go slowly now, with who you are.
